If you are talking about college level studies, most professors recommend that you spend two hours studying for every one hour in class. I didn't study quite that hard and I had a B+ average in college. If I had followed that schedule, I would have probably been an A student.

If you are in school from 7-1 three days a week, that's 18 hours. You'll need to budget 36 hours for studying. Assuming you want to take one day completly off from studying, the following would be a good schedule

Monday:
7-1 Class
1-2 Lunch
2-5 Study (3)
5-6 Errands (laundry, phone calls, checking your email, etc.)
6-7 Dinner
7-10 Study (3)
10-11 Relax
11 Bed

Tuesday
8-9 Breakfast
9-12 Study (3)
12-1 Lunch
1-4 Study (3)
4-6 Errands
6-7 Dinner
7-10 Study (3)
10-11 Relax
11 Bed

Wednesday
Same as Monday

Thursday
Same as Tuesday

Friday
7-1 Class
1-2 Lunch
2-5 Study (3)
5-6 Errands (laundry, phone calls, checking your email, etc.)
6-7 Dinner
7 Have some fun

Saturday
11-12 Brunch
12-3 Study (3)
3 Time off

Sunday
Day of Rest

That gives you all of the hours you need for class/study. Of course, if you work or have social committments, you'll need to change the schedule.

Good luck. You've got the right attitude about planning ahead. Remember what they say . . .

. . . You never plan to fail, you just fail to plan!
