Am currently looking into styles of houses as I don't want anything contemporary but a home with character.

I am currently researching that very Idea for some West Texas Property .
I intend to build a rather large home using a combination of energy saving techniques and machinery. I was a super Handyman at one time.

My family and I recently vacationed in the soutwest with that Idea and others in mind. Hopefully by the first of the year I'll go back to start our Texas project.

As of yet I only rough drew out some design ideas and just started searching for more detail idea designs on the Net, but I have a hook up to an enegy eficiency "company".

They have some outstanding products which are a little on the costly side. The benefits are asounding though, which make them reasonable.

Oh, No I'm not selling nor do I get a commission. I firmly believe that you get back what you put into this world ten-fold.

The company is Better World Technolgy. Amoung other things they are are currently trying to recruit Million and a half people to give away "free"*-energy , I think they made 1.2 mil . Their goal was for the summer but that many I'd think/hope they will continue. Big Money Definitely doesn't want this even though they are planning to sell energy back to the BM.

If you are interested in the Adobe project colaboration PING ME, hit me up, email.

In the UK there are a houses built in the west country that are basically made out of mud. They are known as Cob built houses and the walls are made of mud, straw and horse manure. These houses are still standing and habitated after 200 years plus.

Do a web search on Cob houses as you will probably find it of interest.
