If you are seriously up to it, and not too scared by the whole situation-- you could apply for a job with the FBI (www.fbijobs.com) as a linguist. If you don't have a degree, I don't know what they would do but judging by your screen name,
I'm going to assume that you're bilingual by birth. It's an idea, and they pay REALLY well -- I'm trying to get a job as a clerk.

it's possible but not all that quick. first of course, you have to find someone willing to marry a 17 year old on a tourist visa. once that happens, your wife can file an I-130 immigrant, an I-485 adjustment of status request and work authorization, however, that won't get you in the army any time soon. you can't enlist until you get the green card and that can take a year or more. longer to get the permanent green card. and it will definitely speed up your wait to become a US citizen, if that's what you want. but good luck with that. personally I think anyone who wants that badly to be a ranger should get a shot at it.

isma3ee wleh, just kidding, seriously try an embassy, any embassy. Look online, American embassies (sp?) in arab countries always want translators. I know the one in Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi need them. Look for them.

try the FBI or any gov agency that might be able to use you, CSIS in Canada could be a possible. they are all as leaky as they can be already.
