What are you doing sitting in front of your comptuer on a Friday night???

Question

I was on my way to great adventure but I decided to leave in the morning instead. That's my excuse. Best answer = best reason, I guess. Surprise me.

I wans't really trying to impley that one has this big obligation to cruise bars on Friday night. I was jus making a tounge-in-cheek comment about how much time we spend in front of the not-so-boob tube. Indeed, I'm a prime example in thiscase.

I deal with people all week and find it nice to chill out alone once in awhile. It keeps me from becoming a serial killer.

Have no friends. Left them all behind throughout my life when moving or changing situations and now I am leaving/moving again at the end of September; so whats the point in meeting anybody new now. After the move in September I will only be there for nine to fifteen months so I probably will not carry over any friends from there either. I might keep in touch with some over the net, because I have only been using a computer on a regular basis for six months now. I have always been a loner and Friday night is just the same as any other night when you are unemployed from disability.

I'm too old to go galavanting around every Friday night. I'm no longer a slave to my hormone levels. When I think about this, I feel like I've escaped from a prison.

I'm particularly tired after swimming a mile non-stop in the pool tonight.

I want to get my daily QUOTA of Yahoo ANSWER points! What about my goal of gnawing my way to level "7"!?

I got some emails from very dear friends when I got back from swimming, so I feel like relaxing and taking ti easy with my computer and my faithful dog here with me.

Yeah I'm at work bored out of my mind and i just seriously have nothing else better to do right now. I work at a hotel and its DEAD at least until bar close lol. This is the best i can do because they block everything on the Internet it seems except yahoo. lol no my space i can't download nothing so i can't even chat unless it on meebo.com and guess what ain't no one on the chat with because it is Friday. and you wanna know what sucks even more my boyfriend is at my house in my bed and I'm very sad because of this. So not only am i bored at work sitting on the computer I'm sad :(. That's why I'm on here! Kinda nice i get paid to do this crap though!

I am taking a break from working on my resume. I just got "unhired". I showed up for work and found that the hiring approval didn't come thru before the state hiring freeze, so I got sent home until they figure out if I'm essential enough to get approved.

My reason?? I'm a bartender and this is my night off. I am SO sick of blabbering drunks, that the LAST thing I want is to hear any more of them. At least on here, if I come across a whining idiot all I have to do is hit one key and they're gone. Wish it were that easy in real life.

I was coming back from Chicago yesterday (Thursday) and because of unexpected airport delays (from the terrorism issues overseas) I didn't get home until 4 Friday morning. So tonight is rest night.

OMG! I was just wondering why I'm sitting here instead of going to bed (I'm really sleepy).

I will say my excuse is because I got a new kitten today and I don't want to leave him alone with my other cats and dogs yet. (Really, even if I hadn't gotten a new kitten, I'd be sitting here, but having an excuse sounds better)

im writing. inspiration hits at strange times, also im listening to a 9/11 thing. i live by my own schedule and going out is when i feel like it, whose to say friday is the only time you go out. the masses are idioitc ignorant masses, theres nothing i can learn from them, its always the same. sorry about thta rant, the writing might have just kicked back in.
