Well, that all depends on your personal point-of-view and belief system. One could say if there hadn't been any sexual connection in15 years that the marriage was already dead. Others would say that ANY form of an affair, no matter the circumstances, is wrong. Personally I would say that divorce should has been considered strongly after 6-12 months of no sex. But thats just me. Technically, it is cheating.

We have been programmed t believe it is cheating. I disagree. 15 years is way too long for anyone, man or woman to go without sex. I would not even call it an affair. I think that it should be called extra marital activity. A marriage is not just abut two people staying together, marriage is also abut fun and sex is fun. You should not let it bother you if you are having a little activity, We all need some now and then.

Er, yeah. They're still married.
The only way it wouldn't be considered cheating is if they both knew, and had agreed on whichever one it was being able to sleep with someone else beforehand. I do know a couple that have done this, for very good reasons, which is fair enough, but if there is ANY secrecy involved, then yes. Cheating.

After 15 years of no sex they should decide to have an open marriage. Because maybe there is more to the marriage than sex, but sex can still be important to one or both partners. But I think this is something that needs to be talked about and agreed upon.

If a married person begins any kind of sexual oriented relations with anyone other than their spouse, IT'S CHEATING!!!!!!!!!!!!! If there's been no sex in the marriage for 15 years, there's obviously a problem. Seek professional help or a lawyer!

15 years?!!! Man.
I understand why you did, but cheating is cheating no matter how long its been you are married. You need to fix something in your marriage for not having sex with your spouse for such a long time....

If both of you haven't had sex in 15 years then your marriage has been over for a longtime.
