You shoould wait until you are married to have sex. Having sex before marriage displeases God & He created husband & wife to enjoy it with each other. I have never had sex before. I am 25 male & I never had a date in my life.

I say yes. But many ppl are about how do u know if there will be any sexual chemistry. So in part I say I would only have sex with the guy if he were my fiance and were planning on getting married anyway. Because once you have all the really important factors like love, understanding, respect, commitment, honesty involved and both parties are feeling that way. Then I say sex you can always work on but those things are more precious to find. And yes I'm still waiting for the right person to come along before I have sex.

If your goal is to someday be happily married for the rest of your life, then YES, I believe it avoids a lot of relationship CRAP by waiting until you've pick a life mate. So much MESSY CRAP in relationships when sex gets involved. Sex, especially for women, creates an inflated sense of 'love', security, and attachment. So if the guy is a jerk, or even a great guy but wrong for her, if she's having sex with him, she'll stay with him despite logic BECAUSE OF SEX.
Plus, there's always STD's, and is anyone else shocked at how many teenage PREGNANCIES there are on this thing? It's so sad!
No I did not wait, I had sex with a couple guys before my husband. My first was a wonderful man. We had both been raised to wait for marriage, and we almost did. We were each other's firsts at 21 years old, and it was great. I've never been ashamed of it. We weren't a match, though. I've been married for 4 years now, and happy.

No, I don't believe in waiting until marriage. There's always the possibility of slipping up in a weak moment when you make a vow like that. And in that weak moment, proper precautions might not be taken. It's better to plan it out and be ready for it, regardless of being married or not. And then there are the people that do everything but and still say they're saving it for marriage. If it can result in an STD, it's close enough to the deed. Sure, I promised to wait, but that's only really works if you aren't with someone. I didn't wait and I'm glad I didn't.

Yes, I do think I should be married before I had sex. I did my best to keep it this way before I got married. I've been married 14 years now, and everything is wonderful.

i've never been married. i don't see the point of waiting.
sex is a natural thing. marriage is not only about sex. if you need to get married to have sex, that may cause you to choose a partner too hastily, for the wrong reason.
I also think in very religious countries (where pre-marital sex is forbidden), there is too much frustration and it shows.

I would not wait-I have not waited-I mean why would you seal the deal or sign the contract (marriage) with someone you have not done everything with. I mean would you buy a car without test driving it? I think I just answered my own question! Good Luck!

No - if you are an adult . I think it is important to get that out of the way. Then you can find out if the relationship will go forward and become something more. If it is just lust - then at least you know before it is too late!
