If everyone knew everyone else's thoughts and there were no secrets, what would the world be like? I think that since we had no secrets weighing us down, we could show our true selves without fear.

I would rather have brutal honesty than a person lie to my face personally. I want to be able to trust people.

With no secrets there would be no lies or hypocrisy. Prejudices and biases would be found baseless. Shame would be obsolete.

We also would have no passwords or hiding places for our valuables, but we'd know who stole them.

No I Disagree with that because, if some girl you knew was messen in your kitchen, then you know it would be on. And if she could read your mind then she would be scared. It wouldn't be a good thing, all hell would break lose. That's why they call it little white lie's, so not to hert the other persons feeling.

The government has been working on this brainwave machine that can read your thoughts off of vibrations and low frequency energy. This is the beginning of telepathy.I think we should be a little nervous unless we do not have anything to hide.
WE ARE EVOLVING.

Well..... what exactly does this existence entail? Would I have to blurt out everything I'm thinking just so that it wouldn't be concealed from everyone else? Or are you saying this is a world in which knowledge available to just one has to be available to all?

I think.... it would cause problems. People like to be lied to whether they admit it or not. Sometimes it's just polite.

But if there were no secrets in the world then that means all the surprises would go away as well... Most of us like surprises... But other than that, I'd say let there be no more secrets... Stop these cheaters and catch those killers :)

Their might not be a world, because if the person you didn't like knew your thoughts...there could be big fights, and wars would start. It would just be a big mess.

I think if there were no secrets, no one would get along, because everyone hates something about each other, and that can lead to no friends at all and no respect, and no kind of relationship because everyone is picky and they would all get affended by every little remark.

There are too many people with evil thoughts and secrets... I think it would be a disaster if we knew... and I have never been afraid to be myself......I have always been me whether anyone liked it or not....

I dunno, life would be harder. You wouldn't be able to keep your private thoughts private. Ya know, life is closer to glitters and fake stars with lies and if that's what it takes to keep my mind off the thought of the miserable and doomed world we live in (destroyed ozone layer, global warming, etc.) , then I like it that way.

I think I read something like that in a science fiction novel. All the aliens killed each other I think.
