I know this is completely insane, but I saw that movie as a little kid and it freaked me out so much. To this day, if I have to turn out a light switch I seriously have to speedwalk to the next room and flip on the other light switch. I think it scarred me for life. I know he's not real, but he is freaky as crap!

After all these years I think the fright factor is gone. Krueger went from scary to silly to boring & predictable. So my answer is no I'm not scared of Freddy Krueger.

I'm scared of Cher. i have been since i was six and saw her on TV. dont ask why.
but no i'm not scared of freddy krueger because if that girl in the first one could beat freddy krueger me and Hulk Hogan (he's always helping me out in my dreams) would kick his a$$ back to Guantanamo bay where he belongs

I was when I was little but when I saw the moive again when I was about 16 especially the second one I laughed alot I didn't know how funny it was 'You got the body, I got the Brains'-Freddy

I like his movies but, he does not scare me. Chucky scares me more then Freddy. A living Doll that no one seem to be able to kill. That is disturbing.

I had a life size cut out in my room when I was a bit younger,I woke up from a nightmare,bout scared me to death.
