Which countries have lower suicide rate, and why?

I'll say an African country. Too much suffering and hunger.

There's no point commiting suicide. You'll only lose your family more money for the funeral.

Surprisingly the country that has the most suicides a year is Japan. They have an Honor code in Japan and they would rather die then bring shame upon themselves. In world war two this was the case, they had a saying death is light as a feather and duty was as heavy as a mountain, very few prisoners were taken in the early years of the war only when the war was almost at an end did the Japanese surrender in big numbers, that was a big reason why we dropped the bomb on Japan. So rich or poor does not matter when talking about suicide.

Different lists;different statistics. One authoritative list gives the lowest per capita country as St. Vincent and the Grenadines. No reason to ask why. Like, how could you become despondent living there!

Canada. They have nearly free medical there and their respect for their upraising through their parents or whoever raised them..There morals are higher rated....

well ther was suicidania,it had the lowest rate of suicide,but thats because all the residents killed themselves.

I assume that Japan is one of them. WEll it used to be the way they were brought up. Dicipline and respect for elders.
