Bad:
Getting teased nonstop in Junior High and High School has made me shy and withdrawn, not trusting people and wondering if they are sincere.
Good:
Going to a bigger city to college. I realized that not everyone judges you by how you look, that there are a lot of people out there that actually care about what you think and how you feel. This has made me a more confident and trusting person.

Bad
Developing depression at age 9, being abused physically and psychologically for years (not by my parents! I wanna clarify!), getting teased mercilessly from grades 3-11 for the way my eyes looked. One was bigger than the other with lots of pink bumpy scar tissue where the white part was, and when it was removed, then the fake one was a bit smaller than the real one, so they've always been asymmetrical. Some kids were like vampires, and my eyes were like fresh blood.
GOOD
Becoming a Baha'i!!! Absolutely the BESTEST thing I ever did in my entire LIFE!!! Because I became a Baha'i, I've studied lots about Christianity and Islam as well, and have even done some reading about Buddhism. When I was Catholic, I wasn't nearly as religiously educated.
Reading about Egyptian history and present-day life, and actually visiting Egypt, has opened my eyes to other cultures big time. We in the States are spoiled and whine A LOT. I know, I work in a city gov't call center, and people call in requesting this or that service. THEY WHINE!!!!!!!!!! They have no idea how GOOD we all have it!!! If the tree trimmers worked on their block but skipped their parkway tree, or if the street sweeper missed their block again, or if that big pothole still hasn't been repaired, yes, they have reason to request service. However, try whining like that in other places of the world, and see if gov't will listen. NO WAY BABY, in other places, potholes are there to stay, you burn your own trash, and there's no such thing as machine street sweeping.
I am SOOO much more aware of my blessings. Roughly 57.6% of Egyptians ages 15+ can read. Man, I'm so so sooo glad I can read! Think about it, we're BLESSED if we can READ!!! Forget that you don't have the latest Nintendo doo-hickey, or that you don't yet drive a 2008 Whatchamacallit, or that you don't yet have a 6,000GB wireless iPod that doubles as a garage door opener. If you can READ, you're way ahead of the game.

I have had many Major Events happen in my life. The one I wish to share the most is When I went to Massage Therapy School in Virginia Beach, Va. at the Edgar Cayce School of Massotherapy. Which is located in the Association for Research and Enlightenment. (A.R.E.) It totally changed the way I thought about myself and how to take care of myself better and the entire process was life altering. I learned so much more than just my career. If anyone is considering a career in Massage Therapy, this is the place to go! The people are kind, the place is beautiful, there are so many fun things to do in Va Beach. Well Worth It!!!

Because I was a very shy kid I was picked on and only had a small group of friends. This has let me view people for who they are so I can see things for what they are. Because of this I am aways kind to people and I don't make friends with people for the wrong reason. I also am immune to pure pressure. So I have never smoked , drank or done any drug in my life. That's not because I'm a good girl its just because I don't want to do any of those things and I never got sucked in by peer pressure. So because of my child hood I am extremely healthy with no bad habits of any kind plus I eat healthy too.
I am not so shy anymore but I am glad things went the way they did.

that's no longer in the destiny or one get at the same time that defines someone. In all and distinctive's existence there are substantial activities besides the undeniable fact that the small, ordinary activities that we glance previous structure us more effective than the "substantial" activities because the small activities structure how we react to the large activities. for instance... at the same time as my father died i'd have reacted many distinct options that could were existence replacing. i'd were indignant, lashing out in any respect and distinctive or i'd were unhappy and depressed. i'd have even commited suicide. yet because of before reviews I chosen to react with the help of being supportive to my kinfolk. His lack of existence did not substitute who i replaced into. It merely made me slightly more effective... nicely, me. the fellow i'm right now is in accordance with each thing i have experienced in my existence, no longer merely a unmarried adventure.

Meeting my girlfriend and seeing my two children being born are the two biggest single factors that have made me who i am today, otherwise i think i would be so lost in my life, my girl keeps me up-right at all times. And my children give me strength each and everyday, when you have children of your own you realize that you are not just living for you, but for your children's future. I have never been so focused in my life as i have been in the past year.
