Barron's GRE guide is the best available book in the market for preparing for GRE. Costs less that Rs. 300.

As far as I know, there are three sections for the test:

Verbal Ability - 30minutes

Quantitative Ability - 45minutes

Analytical writing (essay) - 75minutes

There is NO CALCULUS on the test! Learn all the word problem forms, that is the KEY to the math! For the verbal, try to read books that have high level vocabulary, and look up every single thing you don't know. For the writing, just make sure you can write arguments clearly. One problem I encountered asks you to build an argument for something that gave me a semi-vague argument, so I had to scramble a bit. Take practice tests too. Good luck!
