I'm not a vegan but I have enjoyed this spot!!!!

Heartland Cafe at Glenwood and Lunt is a great place. There also used to be a great vegetarian restaurant on Lincoln, a block north of Belmont (behind Whole Foods). But I haven't been past there in a while and don't know if it's still open or not.

There's a relatively new place called Alice and Friends at Broadway and Ardmore (about two blocks north of Hollywood) that's supposed to be pretty good. I'm not vegan or vegetarian so I can't say for sure. But at least it looks nice...

Chicago Diner is boystown is all vegetarian. It's located on halsted north of roscoe.

having never been to vega, i wish i could answer your question. i guess i'm more of an earth type of food eater.
