love is a very objective feeling...meaning, everyone defines it differently
you'll only know if someone loves you if they tell you

there is a hormone released in a man's brain automatically when he is attracted to someone. this causes him to act/feel as though he is in-love. it's a natural instinct to cause humans to mate/reproduce. however, by the 90th day it stops being produced and bang! back to 'reality'. they stop calling.... etc. (by the way, it happens sometimes to women too...men mostly)
wait 3 months before saying "i love you", jumping into bed, kissing... if he is still around, giving you all that great attention, respect and honor, then yeah.
by then he knows the "real" you and loves you for who you are. by then you know the "real" him and you'll love him for who he is.
you both profit from the patience.

Through their actions..anytime they display acts of honesty, respect, patience, kindness..I mean anyone can just tell you with words but when they constantly show you acts of love, you know it's genuine..just see how they respond to different situations..like for example, i can tell that my guy loves me because even when he has a lot of **** to deal with he's always lookin for ways to make me smile..he puts my happiness before his..when other people sacrifice anything for you, like time and effort you can see that through their actions, they love you.

you can normally tell by they way he or she talks to you or the way they treat you!!! love should be unconditional and true, so if this person truly loves you they would do anything for you!!! i mean i know i really love my bf and would die for him because i care about him so much!!!
