your bench should be 10% higher than your weight. In your case, you weigh 302, you should bench 330. But to weigh so much at 16....that is too young to be carrying around that kind of weight, even if you are athletic. It takes men years of working out to build up that kind of mass in good health. even so, 300 anything pounds is too heavy for anyone. Even, say, Larry Allen, the bench press champion for the NFL only weighs 310, and his ex coach says that was too heavy for him.

If you do weigh this much you need to get on a serious diet with exercise 2 or 3 times a day.

benching doesn't help at all unless you're fit, and you could weight 80 pounds or 500 pounds, but if your muscles aren't built you just can't do it
