Ok panic time...
I just dropped my ENGAGEMENT RING in an unflushed toilet!!
(It's a long story, please don't ask.)
Do you have any.. umm.. techniques... for fishing it out?

As long as there is nothing in the toilet then you can get it out with your hands (wear gloves) but if there's something in there then fing something with a hook on the end and fish it out. Good Luck

unflushed # 1 or # 2....hmmm..well the damage is already done. i mean, its goin back on your finger so i wouldnt worry bout gettin my hands dirty at this point. if your really heeby-jeebied, than use a long plastic spoon, like ones you stir spaghetti with. you dont want it getting pushed toward the drain, so dont do anything crazy. honesty, the best way is to reach in and grab it so if you have dishwashing gloves, put those on and grab the ring. gettin ur hands wet is a lot better than losin ur ring. good luck with that...

What's in the toilet? If it's number 1, get gloves and quickly reach in and get it out, then vigorously wash your hands with 2 bottles of soap. If it's number 2, I'd give up and buy a fake cheap one to replace... You could maybe try getting a straw and just like hooking it in the ring then slowly lifting it out.

Make a long hook out of a wire hanger and just fish it out. My mom once did it when I dropped in a ring.

Maybe try putting a large zip loc baggie over your hand first.
If you've ever changed a poopy diaper, your hands have touched something so similar to what's inside the toilet.

Get some gom and a metel hanger and then un do the hanger and put the gum on top of the hanger next just fish it out!!

You need to get that ring! by ANY MEANS NESSCISARRY! Use your hand, big spoon, you younger sister it doesn't matter but hurray and tell the story to your fiance after dinner ans se! lol. Best of luck.

ok well that just sucks. im sorry to say. but try either rubber gloves or some kind of fish net.

If you have gloves, use them. Other suggestions might be a wire coat hanger. Otherwise, just hold your breath and stick your hand in there and just sanitize REALLY well afterwards.

Just use your hands and wash them well. Human fecal matter is not that gross; it gets on your *** everyday and you just use soft paper to wipe it off. Think of it this way, at least the water dilutes the waste.
