Maybe because 3 out of 4 girls are raped by the time they are 18.

Virginity is a very serious subject and one that is at odds between the sexes. Boys can't wait to lose theirs and aren't condsidered a man until they do. Girls who lose theirs early are considered immoral or loose.
Some girls just want to get it over with but I think the greater majority lose theirs because they are duped into believing they are in love and being loved.
Men want to propogate the species by having sex with every female that moves. Women are afraid of losing a love that they think they've found.
I was nearly 18 when I lost mine 24 years ago. I had been in a relationship for 5 months. It went on for a year after that but eventually it did end. I never really thought I would marry this guy but he was my first love.
Once again, male= physical female= love

For the same reasons that 99% of boys do. Majority do so because their hormones are working heavily and they lack the maturity and the will power to control themselves. This is true of boys also. There is a low morals epidemic going on in America.

Because it feels good, there is too much pressure to give it up, and that guys are pricks. Girls have emotional needs that they want to receive from guys. Unfortunately for women, guys learn very quickly that we can take advantage of that and get what we want in return. Women.... if they really wanted to wait need to learn to band together for support rather than tear each other apart. Men are like lions on the hunt..we look for the weakling and we team up to take them down. Women that want to keep their virginity until marriage should band together with other individuals with similar goals. It's a simple support group.

Because when sex is constantly in your face the way it is here now, and most of the people around your doing it with anyone else who happens to be there, it's really hard to not do it. Myself, I intended to wait for marriage, and I blew it at 20 years old. I now am a single parent with a child and my exfiance God knows where doing God knows what! Sex is displayed now as not having any negative consequences, that it's ok to do whenever you want to cuz it feels good, so why not. Used to be teens had sex to be rebellious, now increasingly, parents do have a problem with it, with some even allowing their children's boyfriends/girlfriends sleep over. THAT's why. Kids do what they're taught. What they see everywhere.

because these days marrage is a joke and not taken seriously so why should we take sex seriously?
Less the 75 years ago having sex and being married wasn't unheard of. Hell my grandmother was married at 14 and had first son at 15 daughter at 16 son at 18 and daughter at 19. but these days that makes a slut. It is socity that has changed not the desire to become sexual.

Some girls get pressured by a guy. Some girls don't want to wait. Some girls are hos and can't wait. Some girls might get raped which isn't their fault. Some girls get drunk and pass out which their virginity is taken while they are passed out ( my case )

I dont think is 99%, is probably way lower than that, why? because at a young age, u wanna discover alot, from how to make eggs, to how to tune a guitar. sometimes is just because the are raped, or just because they get drunk and they cant think, and end up having sex.

Because its not a law that you have to be married before you have sex that's souly peoples beliefs.. I believe there's nothing wrong with haveing premarital sex if you planning on being with that person there's alot of people that do choose to have sex before marrige like Johnny Depp would be one of them ha has been with his gf for years and they have children together and are still not married..

because more girls have self esteem problems than boys so they look at sex as a way of acceptance and being loved. plus they get pressure from guys and are talked into it easier... then you hafta throw in the rape factor too
who waits for marriage these days?
