I need some good old music. Not sure how to explain it. Kind of country. Things like Battle of 1814, Cotton Eyed Joe (i know that is not old - but has the old time sound i am looking for) Sweet Home Alabama (same as Cotton), Sinking of the Bismark. That old time sound. Can't think of others to explain but am hoping some of you will know what i mean. So do you know of any songs with this kind of sound?

i think cajun music is a type of song i am looking for as well as others. This sounds weird but i associate the music i am thinking of with southern wedding receptions. Weird i know but maybe it helps.

Willie Nelson & Don Williams come to mind...

I could give you some great Cajun songs...but not sure if that's what you mean.

I think I "feel" the sound you're going for; I'll search my 3,000+ song database & see what I come up with. (Yeah...music is pretty important in my life.)

Yea, you need to download some Johnny Horton, Hank William's, David Allen Coe, Lefty Frizzell, Alabama, Mickey Gilley, Gary Stewart, just to name a few :)
