Find one customer and make them very happy. Then ask them if they could recommend one person that can use your service. See if they would call ahead for you and introduce your service to them. Then follow-up with this new prospect- repeat the same level of service. Send a handwritten thank you note, with a stamp and handwritten address to your first customer. It takes a while- but networking, repeat customers and customer referrals are your best and least expensive way of building your business.
When you have base of customers and know who buys your service, then you can branch out and see what will work. Maybe flyers at the YMCA or a poster at the local grocery store. It really depends on where these customers re coming from. Look at zip codes, neighborhoods, how you got referrals- any piece of information will tell you who your market is.
Right now you're shooting ants with an elephant gun with your flyer approach.
Read "Guerrilla Marketing" by J. Levinson. Not all of his ideas will work- but there is a kernel of information that you can use from every example.

Hi, perhaps you can try Google adwords to market your service/product.
Google adwords is a text-based system for advertising on its site and its partner sites. The service allows you to create your own ads, choose keywords to help match your ads to your audience, and control the cost of your advertising—you pay only when people click on your ad (a cost per click plan). Anyone wishing to promote a product on Google can enroll in this program.
you can get a 5 detail pages information about Google adwords at :

Good Luck && Best Wishes!

This may sound a little to easy but if you make a "myspace" page for your business and "Whore" the page you can get a good amount of free advertising. It may take a little of your time but it is worth it. I also have a small company that I run by myself and it really works well. good luck!!!

Tell everyone you know ... and people you don't know. Write a press release kit to send to radio, tv and newspapers. Find your target market and get to know them. Network with business professionals like with Chamber of Commerce or COSE/SBA. Get a personalized T-shirt. Pass out business cards. Mainly, believe in yourself!!!
