The U.N. Security Council adopted a resolution Friday that calls for an end to the war between Israel and Hezbollah, and authorizes 15,000 U.N. peacekeepers to help Lebanese troops take control of south Lebanon as Israel withdraws. I don't think this resolution help Hezbollah stop war. This is one side resolution prepared to give more time to Israel achive its object.

So simple answer.."G.o.d" -"Great Oil Demand" of American & Western countries. Without oil these goverments will die..So they have to kill someone or make trouble in the region to get oil..i.e Iraq..Soil resources from Afganishtan.
