I'm In California.

They didnt take my picture again... so is my picture goin to be the same picture that was on my on my permit?

I got my Interim License ( that paper one u get after u pass and ur supose to keep until you get ur actual plastic one )

Is my REAL license coming in the mail... or do i have to go down to the DMV and all that jazz?

Well, back in the stone ages, all I did was pass driver's ed, take the written exam down at the secretary of state..then they correct them there and then they take all the proper ID (birth certificate and SS with your legal gardian and then they took your picture. You then were allowed to drive alone and your new Driver's licence came in the mail. Each state is different so you may want to just call the secretary of state (that's what they call it in MI). They can answer any of your questions love.

I don't know how it works in California but in Chicago,ILL they send it to you in the mail.
By the way when I got my actual D-L I got
my mom's car drove it on the freeway like
I didn't have any sense, speeding at 75mph
on a 45 speed limit and oh Yes I got a
speeding ticket. And did I ever pay the price
for it. As in....I got my *** whoop from my
mom and my dad grounded me for 3 months.
As for the speeding ticket it took me 1 1/2 yrs
to reimburse my parents. My advice to you,
think carefully when you get behind the wheels!
Make the right choice and don't do what I did. ;)

The DMV mails your license home. If you want to change your picture on your license, then you will have to pay to get that done.

But really, I'm in NY so things may be different, but yeah you should be getting your plastic one in the mail within a few weeks. They retake pictures around here, but if they didn't I'm sure they'll use your permit pic.

oh yes you soo ahve to wait in line get your pictures snapped ans wait for your lisease. Why didn't you do that after your written test?

You do have to pass the written test first.

But if you want to be really helpful not drive, you'll just be another car on the road, going no where slowly and guzzling gas.

ya got to go to pass the driving part now, and then the dmv to get it and then go back to the dmv every 6 years to renew it
