I don't because I don't want to feel influence by the answers already posted. But I kinda feel stupid to see I'm repeating what others are saying.....

Yes, I feel it is important that I don't read other peoples answers. I am my own individual and I don't need to be looking at other peoples answers. As many people that answer questions it is almost impossible not to have something repetitive. Say what you feel and be yourself. SMILE

I scan. First I scan the quickie answers because they take no time to read. They can be funny. Sometimes, though, a row of the same answer that is so different from mine makes me really "inspired" to send mine.

I scan the longer answers a little to get an idea of whether they're headed where I plan to head. Usually, its easy to tell right away. If they look like they're headed where I plan to head I don't read on because I don't want to be "tainted" as I write.

Once in a while I don't look at any of them. I just get "inspired" by the question and start writing.

Answers is fairly new to me, and I have to say that I have discovered it to be a kind of good "mental exercise" to see how good an answer I might be able to come up with. My aim is, of course, to try to think up the best answer I can come up with (because some questions are so serious), but I also enjoy the challenge of trying to craft a good answer (its more useful than playing Trivia). Anyway, because I enjoy the crafting of the answer and the challenge of trying to come up with something unique, I only scan the other answers. (Sometimes after the whole thing is done, though, I may then go back and read all the answers. Sometimes, too, I read the other answers and decide yet one more isn't called for.)

It depends on the question. If it's a question that can be answered with only one correct answer I check and see if it's already given because I do not want to give an answer that is already given and repeat it. If it's any kind of different question I seldom read the answers because like you I also don't like to be influenced by what others have written.

Sometimes I will brows through the answers just to make sure I am not saying the exact same thing someone else is,but usually I just answer the question before I read the answer because I don't want to be # 33 on the list of answers!!

Sometimes, unless it's got a lot of answers. I check to see if someone's already gave the answer I was going to give, since there's no point in repeating the same information.

No. I don't read other people's answers first. I probably should because sometimes I have missed the point of the question. Unless everyone else has missed the point. I still don't read them because then I would never have time to answer the questions I can answer.

it depends.

If there are only 5 or 6 answers, yes. In fact, if there are 30 answers, i probably read the first 5 or 6. But i rarely read more than that, no matter how many answers there are.

I answer without delay. even in spite of the undeniable fact that after i'm finished i'm going and browse different solutions and verify out to provide human beings i imagine also had tremendous solutions a thumb's up. that is not a acceptance contest or perhaps meant for a human being to be the "smartest" or the "astounding". we are all the following to help one yet another.

I do sometimes to check if anyone has already written what I have to write. If it's there already, I tend not to answer anymore. But sometimes I don't and that's when I find my answer repeating others', mostly at least twice.
