I went to McDonald's for lunch today and the kid at the window kept asking me if I was sure I didn't want to super size my meal. Why did he keep asking me that? =(

I am very sure it has to do ONLY with job training. If he didn't ask, he would be fired. Oh, any by the way, do you want fries with that order? Super sized? Good luck

Because the super size costs more and nearly every fast food place has it now. The restaurant makes more money so they can pay that employee that little paycheck each week.

From the looks of your aviator pic, well...he was just being polite...and they are not suppose to ask that any more I thought, but what the heck, it's all about making money so he's just doing what they told him to do, you can't blame the poor entry level minimum wage earning for following the policies of his company.

2 reasons. They probably think you need more than a regular meal and is suggesting that :-) The other reason and I think is the valid one - UPSELLING. That's trying to sell a little more than what's been ordered. A sales tactic, applicable in most sale transactions.

I think thats there job to ask that so that they can make more $ for people that pay them so little.
Dnt take it personal, if you dnt like it dnt go there any more.
Not to be a jerk but why keep going if you dnt like the service, I mean you relly cant complain thats what they're supose to ask.

Because people like to stereotype and because you happen to have extra weight they assume that you want More food.Which is not necessarily true you could have a thyroid issue. But to make it simple people are inconsiderate jerks.

They do the same to me... I don't have a problem with it, and I'm a small girl... I felt awkward, (and he kept staring at my boobs).
Maybe he just kept asking you so he could check you out... That's how I met my boyfriend.

They're not sapposed to ever since Supersize Me came out they got rid of that option.
