could be bottling up emotions.
could be clinical depression.
could be hormones.
could be all or none of the above - oe even a mix.
Why not talk to a doctor or therapist who can see if something unusual is going on ? It sounds like you could benefit by talking to someone trained, since you already feel you are bottling your emotions up.

Other people here have brought up all the points I would think of, but I just have two things to add: 1. Any chance you're just so stressed out you're exhausted? 2) Have you tried doing the following? You get the lights down, put on some music that you find really moving or really beautiful. Just listen to it in the dark for as long as it takes to either get sick of it or else have yourself a good, giant, wallowing cry. If the cry doesn't come you'll at least have taken some time out of your day to relax (in case you're too stressed out). If a little cry comes, that's ok. Ideally, you'll get to one of those horrible, bubbly, don't-think-you're going-to-stop cries. Let it run its course. Live with the sinus problems the next day because it serves a purpose.
Repeat the crying process as many night as necessary, and eventually you'll find you're not on the verge of crying all through the day. (I see this night-music technique as a way of structuring the crying, getting it all done at once at an appropriate time, and regaining some control of any crying urges.) (Blast the music into your ears with headphones. It increases the emotional impact.)
Happy crying!! :)

Maybe that's the reason. Have u had any unpleasant or depressing situations lately? If yes, maybe u get reminded of that wen u watch something similar on TV and u automatically express sadness by crying.
Maybe u just need to let it all out and cry well. Then u won't feel like crying more frequently.

by chance are you on girl time? well sister, i feel ya if that is the case.
if it is not, then i think you have some issues you need to deal with. perhaps something happened like a death of friend/family or loss of job or something like that and you never dealt with it. that can cause more emotion that is practically uncontrolable. perhaps give yourself a good cry and let it all out. this may help your situation. watch a sad movie and just cry. you may have had something happen that made you very angry and you didn't get mad, you just ignored it. so your crying problem could be because you bottle things up until they explode. don't be afraid to express emotions. it is natural. let it go. good luck to you!

It may be the opposite; you may have had an experience recently in which you are experiencing your emotions in a whole new way.
I remember one girl I started dating, and we hit it off great, and were really had strong feelings of love. Well, we went to a movie which had some actors we both liked....it was a drama, and I didn't know it had a sad turn to it, and I just start blubbering like an idiot (I never do that at sad movies). Later, I surmised that I had just been reveling in enjoying my emotions which I was just keeping at the surface, and it allowed me to more easily react to other stimuli in an emotional manner.
So rather than your crying coming from bottling up your emotions, perhaps you've been releasing them in a very unique, strong way, and you've opened the floodgates, so to speak.

You could be taking medication that can cause major mood swings such as some acne medication like accutane or birth control meds. If you are taking any medication, research it's side effects or consult your physician. I took tetracycline for my skin and felt really depress and didn't know why. I blamed everything else in my life. When I realize what I was taking, I got off of the med, and I felt myself again.
If you are not taking medication and are experiencing sudden depression, you may need to seek a doctor anyway to confirm whether you are manic depressive or bipolar. It is hard for the general public to diagnose you without adequate information but most of all we are not professionals and do not qualify to do so anyway. Hope you feel better.

How old are you? There are a multitude of reasons why you might be emotional right now. Have there been significant things going on in your family or with your friends? Have you lost anyone recently? Have you been spending alot of time by yourself? I'd recommend you talking with a friend and see what comes up. Nothing too fancy, just a good heart-to-heart.

Ohhh the list I could make here dear:
1. PMS?
2. older? Menopause?
3. Family member, boyfriend ...been causing you emotional distress?
4. Now that will do it.
5. And if you can't put your finger on it, talk to your doctor may just be temporary depression.
no big deal happens to many sometime in life.
Good luck:-)
