You know... I don't think it has anything to do with gender. When a person gets deeply hurt, they are less likely to forgive or forget. I have heard and seen so disgusting situations where Dogs get treated better than a Human!! Men and Women can be very insensitive to each others feelings. Sometimes forgiving someone takes months maybe years, but it's a process one must go through to heal. There are just as many bitter men out there, if not more than women. We just have a different way of showing it. Women would much rather stomp around mad bashing men and preaching hate!! Where as men plan on Sleeping and Dogging Out Every Women In Sight!! It's like a "two way street", you have to forgive in order to be forgiven....

I don't necessarily think that it's that we are less forgiving then men..I don't think we are less forgiving at all actually think it's quite the opposite - we have the ability to forgive quite often because we stay in relationships in which we've been hurt repeatedly because of the love we have for the person - however love and trust are 2 total seperate issues - love makes you stay - but lack of trust makes you remember, recall and reflect back to prior incidents in which our trust was broken. Women have a strong need to feel secure in their environment on all aspects of our relationships and when our security is threatened in anyway it chips away at our confidence and trust in our mate. A prime example of a woman's ability to forgive is a situation in which a husband cheats on her - she doesn't divorce him and tries to work it out - Same scenario in reverse - a wife cheats on her husband he can't bear the the thought of another man being with his wife so he walks away. Are you sure that women are less forgiving than men? Or does it depend upon the situation?

I couldnt tell you but I noticed it. I am the least forgiving person I know. I can only speak for myself, but it is because, we worry that if we forgive, it will happen again. And am not just talking about men who make mistakes towards us. So we hang on to the hurt, I know there is a way to let go, am just too stubborn to do it.

Because they've learned through society that it's perfectly acceptable to be that way. Continued reinforcement over the years has ingrained it into the american female persona that it's their god given right to pretend to forgive, but then bring it back out every time anytime they get angry. Don't tell me you haven't heard it, either. Couple women in a coffee shop, one telling the other to tear her man up for whatever it was, etc etc.

Try arguing with most women, you'll find they change the topic to every thing you've done wrong for as long as they've known you, instead of facing up to the issue when they've done wrong. But when the man makes a mistake, out comes every mistake. It's just ammunition. Thank you american society!

women never forget any thing and even when we tell you we forgive you, we really dont. We just wait for you to mess up again and then throw it in your face all over again. We get to involved in relationships way too fast and we always let our men know that we care about them and then always get hurt. But guys have this i dont give a f@#! attitude and they dont get attached as easily. I think women should be more like men when it comes to relationships. But thats just my own opinion
