That when most people choose a best answer, their choice has more to do with choosing someone who agrees with them than with choosing the actual best answer? This is mostly in the cases of people asking a question to prove a point, like in the Religion & Spirituality section. Retarded ain't it?

Goldwing, conversion is not necassary. It takes critical thinking skills and a desire to learn real truth to choose something that is truthful even if it goes against what you believe.

So.... you go rest... I think some people are capable of it, yes.

I always weed it out by answering one of their open questions.

I will always favor an answerer who has a question for me to answer ... just shows that the person is balanced ... people who only answer questions appear pompous and arrogant and I don't trust them.

Then out of the people I have answered the question, I look for the one who actually listened to my question. Too often people will be so far off the question its kinda funny.

Yeah, in religion I tend to pick people who think more like me ... If I ask, " What does God smell like? " ... I'm not going to pick the day-wrecker who says "Your going to hell for blasphemy" although it's funny ... or, "God doesn't smell and neither did Allah" ... I have sided with a few Mormon's and Jehovah witnesses though because they had real beautiful peaceful messages that penetrated my little giraffe brain.

in some cases a person asks a question to which they do not know the answer and when they get a good answer they pick the best.now if it is a question they are asking to see if they are right in a situation .2 things happen 1 being they have to choose an answer either way .2 if the majority says the person is right in the situation they go with that it is to back up what they already feel is the right answer.i do notice a lot of people do pick the ones that agree with them but those are the narrow minded people who feel their opinion is the only right one.the religion and spirituality section is a big case of it and it is rediculous to go the questions and answer them any more cuz they really do not want to know your thoughts they just want something to argue with .example a person may ask why dont christians realise what they believe is lies.that god does not exist the asker dont want to hear that just because he says he dont exist dont make him all of a sudden right.and if the asker does come back and choose an answer it isnt going to be one that goes against them .they pick the one that agrees with them .sorry for the book but i had noticed this before that is why i dont answer a lot of questions any more.

In that category, what did you expect? True conversion? Give it a rest. People post in a few categories simply as crusaders...boring, stupid waste of time. No converts are being made here, either way. Why do atheists do the same...except they usually don't stop back to choose a "best answer." It is usually cast out to the voters who, without fail, click the first answer written to get one silly point. Much of this site is going down the tubes...I guess it was inevitable. Good luck

yeah i think ur right. i got a couple of best answers because i agreed with the asker. the best answers were usually long and boring though so i don't blame people for choosing other answers. no what i'm saying?

perhaps it is because the questions in that catagory are usually asked in the hopes of validating their opinion or belief in the situation.... Human nature......
