pressure switch is a long way from control box

Wire the switch just like you normally would except use extra long wires. The electricity does not know the switch is a long way away, and if you wire according to the manufactures specs, the manufacturer promises the switch will work. If you do not then you automatically void the warranty, possibly damage one or more other pieces. and the switch itself in the process.

That's odd-generally, the holding tank,the switch and the control box are close together. If your holding tank is near your switch and not near the control box, move the control box. If the opposite is true,add a fitting in your waterline near the holding tank that will accept the switch (generally an 1/4 inch threaded connection) and wire it there.

What you need to do is pickup a 4 pole relay that is rated high enough aper,s to match the motor on your well pump.The voltage can be either 120 or 240v and can be actitaved with small wire.The coil on relay only draws about 5amps.
