It's nearly impossible to put a specific age on it.
In MY opinion, you should have sex when:

1. You understand all the risks involved (STDs, pregnancy, etc.).

2. You are in a position to support anything that may come of it (in other words, secure financially, emotionally, mentally, etc.).

3. You are doing it because YOU want to (not getting pressured into it).

4. You have a deep respect and love for the other person and want to take it to the next level (it shouldn't just be a "booty call" or anything so superficial and shallow).

That's my opinion. This varies for everyone. I REALLY wouldn't recommend having sex when you're in your early teens, but I'm not going to tell you how to live your life either.

It is more like how old should you be to start having sex......why do you want to start young? Or worry about it? All things happen when it is meant to be. Why not worry about yourself, and learn about yourself and make friends and have fun? This is time for stuff like that, not thinking about how young should I be. It is not something that needs to be taken lightly. It is all a part of a commitment, a part of life that can happen when you are older, much older. I would say, wait until marriage, but yeah I know, that just seems plain, old news, abstinence, what is that nowadays?

I would say the proper age would be about 21. But we both know that isn't going to happen. I say this everytime this questions is asked. Just be smart and practice save sex. You don't want to end up pregnant and you don't want to get any kind of STDs. Always think before you jump into bed with just anyone. I don't want to support teen sex but everyone know it is going on. For the girls I would recommend carrying condoms because boys are not always prepared. And they are not thinking with their big head either.

Morally you should wait until you are married. Sex is more than just physical. There are alot of emotions involved that you may not be ready for.
Realisticly,
I would ssay probably 16 or 17.
Just be careful!

When you are mature enough to understand all the responsibilities that come with sex and the fact that peer pressure is not a reason to have sex.

I think you should say how old should you be to have sex. Personally I think that you are old enough to have sex when you are ready to support the kid that it may give you. Accidents happen make sure you can handle the consequences maturely
