i,ve known this guy for 2 years now we just tlak to eachother and we get along great most of the time.every now and then he stops contacting me for weeks sometimes months at a time but always calls me at some point and im wondering why doesnt he leave me alone completly? i mean wouldnt it be easier to just never ever call me again?

he thinks you are a friend but sometimes he may be too busy but just cuz he doesnt call doesnt mean he hates you!!!if he is too busy to call but still has the time to stop and call you then he wants to stay your friend!!!!hope this helped

he is treating you as a friend,or may-be a god friend..someone with whom he likes keeping in touch whenever he can make it!
but,he definitely isn't expecting a relation with you.so don't think too hard,he is a friend that's all.
Why you want him to leave you alone?does him company trouble you in any way?or are you getting irritated cause he doesn't see you as often you would have loved him doing so???be sure of your feelings about him in the first instance,then decide what you wish to do.

He thinks of himself as your friend. He enjoys your company, talking to you, etc. He probably gets busy with life and goes off for a bit and then he comes back again. He does not see himself as your boy friend.

Ask him what he really expects from you. Next time you speak with him also ask him how long till next time.

It makes sense if he is hoping to jump your bones someday.
