I have a 6 month old puppy and we now have drak spots all over the carpet in places that he has peed and we have "cleaned" up with 8in1 Pet Stain remover. It SUCKS! We need a steam cleaner and good pet stain/urine/odor remover that works. Arm& Hammer doesnt work. Resolve is a pain. I need something easy to use and very effective. If it really works I dont care how much money it is. I hate the way my carpets look.

Nature's Miracle - hands down the best. It's also great at getting grease spots out of carpet. It's an odor neutralizer as well. If the cat vomits, it comes in handy.

The baking soda will neutrilize the odor, mix the soda with vinagar might help to remove the stain. I would sprinkle baking soda on the stain and add vinagar......
I cant tell you much about the carpet stains and odor, but if you are needing to stop the puppy from doing this in the house, you can search the internet on crate training....I have a 6 month old boxer and thats the way we house broke....I will not allow a dog to do this in my house....

Good luck with your carpet.

If it's just pee, you can buy carpet cleaning machine liquid (you can get it at Wal Mart or a vacuum repair store) or just some Resolve. As for the odor, cider vinegar works pretty well. After it dries, it doesn't smell sour anymore. Plus, if you put a little on the puppy's tounge, he won't want to pee on those spots anymore. He'll recognize the smell and will high tail it outta there.

Go to a pet store there is this stuff called Odor Mute it takes the smell away so much not even your puppy can smell it and they also have a spray to stop your puppy from going in one spot. When I trained my dog I put papers near the door and put a drip of horses urine ( I know it sounds gross) but it starter her to go on the papers and after awhile she got use to going on the paper near the door so when I seen her go at the door I let her out and gave her a treat after and praised her.... Good Luck

Some can work temporarily. The stain will keep popping up as long as it is still in the carpet pad. The best thing to do would be replace the carpet pad in that area.
