I have been married 4 years now and my husband forgot my birthday. I refused to remind him , he then acted put out when I said I was going to a party at my Stepdaughters . When he asked why I told him it was my Birth day party and he was invited but he just said you'r B-Day is next month.

If he's so sure your birthday is next month, he'd better produce next month or he'll be in deep doo doo!
Guys can be weird about dates, and it's just one of the mysteries of the world, but even though they love you dearly, they will forget birthdays, they will forget anniversaries, they will forget anything connected with the calendar. If you have that kind of a husband, instead of making a fuss over the things he forgets, be REALLY warm and rewarding over the things he remembers. If he brings you flowers for no reason, then celebrate that. A birthday just means you're getting a year older. Flowers for no reason are a lot more fun to celebrate. And you can show him this message if you want....

Are things OK otherwise? Because if this is an isolated incident I would let it go, I mean nowadays there's so much stress that that alone could have made him forget your b-day. If he acted like he was put out, it could mean that he was angry with himself for forgetting and was too stubborn to admit it to your face, thus his assertion that your b-day was the following month.

I've been married for 30 yrs. and my husband so far has not forgotten any birthdays or anniversaries, but I have.

If you intend to stay married there will be many things he will do and forget, let it go..next month when you have your "birthday" enjoy it..it only makes the celebration and presents last longer. Remember never go to bed mad, one of you may wake up dead. Happy Belated Birthday..
