A thesis statement is just the main idea of the paper. Once you figure out what specific topic the paper is about, come up with a sentence about it that you can build a paper around.

Ask yourself the question: "What is this paper about?" In one sentence, answer the question. That is your thesis statement.

You need to identify what exactly it is you're central point of the paper is in one concise sentence.
