well, of course they got angry, that is a normal human being emotion.... the sad the thing is, is that you were telling the truth. nothing wrong with that! If they were being mean to someone or even to you, I would let them know to. Way to stand up for someone, or for yourself! :)

It is logical that a so called Jerk would get mad at you when you told them they were a Jerk. Did you really expect any other kind of reaction? Don't worry about them being mad........afterall they are jerks.
You obviously are not a jerk. Avoid having jerks as friends. Don't hang out with jerks.
What is so hard about this that you don't know what to do.?
What is it you expected from them....thanking you, then throwing your a party?
Get new friends and stop jerking around.

I think you should confront and tell them how they've been a jerk. Frankly, if i had done the same with one of my friends he or she would have asked me why. If he really has a problem recognizing that he/she is a jerk then maybe they need some help.

well if you just said that "your a jerk" they probably did get offended..especially if infact they are a jerk. I would sit down with the person and calmly explain to them how their behavior has been. You dont want the other person to feel like tehy are being attacked. So i would just appologize and explain to them what you ment to say.

Maybe it was what they needed to hear, if they are indeed a true friend they will get over it and your friendship will be stronger if not then make new friends.

Sometimes the truth hurts.
If they are truly your friend they will get over it. If they don't then the friendship didn't go as deep as you thought.
