People are too selfish. As soon as we don't get our way we want out. Hence - an alarming divorce rate. Love is about giving and less about taking. At least, that is the way it used to be. Now we all behave like spoiled brats and think only of ourselves. Men would rather spend their money on a car than than his spouse and women prefer a boob job over a college fund for junior. All this breeds a lousy condition for a pleasant and healthy relationship.

Because people who cause a relationship to go bad are usually the most attractive and charming person before we get involved wtih them. Take more time before getting seriously involved. Remember .... serial killers are almost always charming.

We settle for less than the best for us because society makes us feel we must be in a relationship. So we just pick up on someone who smiles...
