Why do so many liberals think it is some new phenomenon to complain about military action against a country that hasn't attacked us yet? There was even more liberal B.S. protesting and disrespect of the troops during the Vietnam War. It seems like these liberals have ZERO knowledge of world history.

If we wanted to take over the middle east and call it the 51st state, why would we have helped Iraq set up their own democracy?

i LOVE this girl on here telling me that if not for the liberals of the 60s and 70s that I wouldn't be able to say my opinion.
If it werent for the military action of world war 2, we'd be speaking German! Sometimes physical force is necessary to settle an issue. We can't just sit in a circle and have tea and talk it out with extremists.

I don't think it's just liberals that are complaining. And if it weren't for the liberals of the 60's & 70's, you wouldn't have the rights you do today, so you should be thankful...
There's a movement today that is trying to protect and bring equal rights to a whole new group of people, you can either join in or sit back and watch it happen. You're choice. This country has to stay progressive or we'll end up worse off than third world countries.

I agree with your theory in general. However, we HAVE been attacked many times over by Iraq and Iran and Syria and (fill in any middle eastern countries name here that have ties to terrorism). Terrorism is an ideal, not a country. When are people going to get that. We attacked Iraq as we had intelligence that stated Iraq had direct connection to the groups involved with terrorism.
Most of the flaming libs now are either throw backs from the '60s that need a new movement to protest. Or they are the kids of the flaming libs.

It seems like YOU don't have any knowledge. Conservatives like you want to make it look like if we don't like the war in Iraq, we don't like our soldiers. The B.S. is coming from people like you.
Fact: We DO have to fight a war on terrorism. Fiction: Terrorism is occurring in Iraq. If you took a look over the past couple of days, the bombings that were about to occur DIDN'T happen in Iraq. It happened in London. If the troops are going to fight, send them where at least THE FIGHT IS OCCURRING.
I give the soldiers all the credit in the world. They are fighting for my freedom to say IT IS bush's FAULT WE ARE IN IRAQ & SHOULDN'T BE. WE ARE IN IRAQ BECAUSE bush WANTS OIL! Stop trying to send out more lies....
By the way, a lot of the liberals you are talking about protesting the Vietnam War are now Conservatives....

the problem with your "war on terrorism" is there are too many holes in the reported reason for it ... too many lies to the people ... and its not reasonable or even logical to think there is thousands of terrorists running all over the world out to get you ... where did you get that idea? maybe from believing everything u see on the tv about 911? do you realize that its a known FACT that the vietnam war was started by the US in the gulf of tonkin? it was a planned operation by our government to stage attacks against our own ships as a pretext to enter a war? .... all declassified now. many other govt operations to cause a pretext for somthing in our past. terrorism ha .... you bought it hook line and sinker didnt ya? Attitude? my gosh thousands upon thousands of US soldiers died as a result of a lie told to the american people about what happened at the gulf of tonkin in vietnam ...so maybe all those "hippies" knew somthing u think? or maybe we should just blindly accept an account of 911 thats full of ....FULL OF holes and go murder over 40000 iraqi civilians and most likely our own govt at least had prior knowledge and could have prevented 911.... i suggest u google "PNAC" and "rebuilding americas defenses" to get a grasp of whats really going on in the middle east ...after you figure out what the pnac is and what they stand for and when rebuilding of americas defenses was written ....THEN ....check out the member list of the pnac and who all is in that organization and now is a part of the current administration that you so adamantly want to kiss up to.

I not sure exactly what dark space you have your head shoved into. It's clear to me by your Q & A that although you want to appear intelligent, if you are uneducated about a subject/issue it's probably a good idea to learn as much about the subject as you are possibly able to before you go shooting off your offensively ignorant opinions.

You are naive to think that your country has not been attacked.
Terrorism has affected the whole world in one way or another and it is just silly, ignorant behaviour to think that you or your country have not been affected.
In my opinion, the whole of humanity that does not belong to the terrorist group of people, has been affected so dont take this matter lightly.
It is a very serious and very important issue and one must learn the whole truth.
