i prefer maybelline pure makeup. it's about $5 or so. it doesn't look fake yet still gives you coverage. it's a liquid, which is better because liquids are better for a natural effect. if you still need more coverage for your spots, try a concealer. maybelline pure has a concealer with 2% salicilic acid in it to heal while it covers.
Good luck!

I like L'Oreal True Match, but all of these companies really have pretty good foundations. The True Match has a matte finish though, so I'd recommend it for oily skin. Neutrogena's foundations are also very good.
I would stay away from powder if you are prone to breakouts. As we with oily skin know, most of the time when a blemish is healing there will be some flaking skin around it. Putting a powder foundation over any dry or flaky areas (like the mineral makeups) is like putting a magnifying glass over it. Not pretty.

I've used all 3 and they all are good products. I had the best results with Revlon ColorStay. For a 14 yr old that is prone to break outs you might want to check into ProActive. It is a little more expensive, but WAY WORTH IT. I've used it for almost 10 years. I only use Revlon when I run out of ProActive. It's GREAT.

Powder is best, and I would recommend Almay. You might have good luck with Maybelline as well (as Maybelline has a large variety of colours available). I do NOT recommend Revlon Color Stay at all. It stains your skin and clogs pores badly. L'Oreal also clogs pores. I suggest that you use a MEDIUM to LIGHT coverage foundation. If you use a full coverage foundation you WILL have skin problems, guaranteed! Always apply moisturizer before putting on foundation. This prevents clogged pores.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE maybelline. I have tons of different foundations from them. My top three are pure.foundation, dream matte mousse, and express stick 3-in-1. They are all under $10 and you can find them almost anywhere, including walmart. I would suggest using a liquid and then a powder over that, so that you get full coverage and a matte finish. pure foundation has a full line of concealer, foundation, and powder that uses water instead of oil so that it won't clog your pores. If you get the dream matte mousse, then you don't have to follow up with a powder. hope this helped!

i like cover girl, can't remember exact name, true blend maybe? whatever foundation you use, be sure to take the extra time and wash your face at night. I'm not prone to breakouts (thank god) but if i sleep all night with a face full of makeup, im more than likely gonna get a zit.

I use Clinique Oil Free Foundation.
Key words for breakouts....Oil Free.
I don't think liquid is better than powder or vice versa...the key is cleaning your face with washes designed to help you achieve clear skin and washing your face daily.
It's also important to wash your face at night, in addition to day time, to wash away the dirt and oil from the day.

I bought this stuff by maybelleine in a green tube bottle. It is oil free. Its for people who have problem skin. Its only like 5 dollars and they also have a concealar stick for like 4 dollars. It looks really natural and covers well too. I usually use stuff from sephora thats like 40 dollars but I tried this stuff and it worked really good.

I always had a problem with acne, and I have found Rimmel to be a very good foundation for me... it is cheap and light.
