frist i load the itunes,but when i put in my ipod into the usb port it dosen't seem to load the ipod .I hear the noise it makes when you plug the ipod to usb port any help would be nice

It is problem with the software.Remember the 5 Rs given in the manual use it.they are
* 1. Reset your iPod.
* 2. Retry with a different USB port.
* 3. Restart your computer.
* 4. Reinstall iPod and iTunes software.
* 5. Restore your iPod.
Try the reset and restart method

Restarting your computer would sometimes help. Does your computer still recognise the iPod as a harddisk? If restarting doesn't bring any result, you should uninstall and re-install iTunes. It usually helps.

We have 3 Ipods and have misc. problems from time to time. The best thing to do is go to the apple website and download a firmware update. It even made the battery work better.

try updating the ipod software, that always works for me.
