We all have mood swings, but if yours are severe you may need to talk with a psychologist or psychaitrist. Bipolar depression goes into major swings. Then PMS can do that too. Social occasions are exhausting if you feel that you are responsible to "keep the crowd going".

Self-isolation. Make sure you have enough time with yourself. If you over crowd yourself with others you forget to nuture that which gives you the ability and desire to seek others, serenity within yourself. You need time to be able to just think with your input and your's only. It really allows you to enjoy time with others because you have ample time to spend with yourself. You'll be able to be more energetic because you're not spending 24/7 with a bunch of people. Also try just hanging out with a few friends. A lot of friends can be very draining if you feel the compulsions to make sure everyone is feeling good and that everyone is having a good time. With one or two friends you can do such without over extending yourself.

Sounds you are more introverted. :-) You are quite in good company! :-)
I am an introvert. I DO need my quiet time after I have been around people for at least 3 hours. Then I "run home to revitalize" a bit.
Plus, it is said that 75% of the U.S., perhaps the world's, population is extroverted.....and the remaining 25% are introverted. Aren't we special? ;-)

My introspective perceptions tell me that for every hour spent with people I need three alone to regenerate. I think that a lot of people are okay with a 1:2 ratio. Find what works for you. It's the only way I know how to help myself.

I always recommend talking to the MD you don't give age... but that can be the sign of many problems and early detection is the key to most problems. Have a good one:-)

You are probably mostly introverted and need more alone time to recharge.
There is nothing wrong with you- its just different personality types.
