Even though I like both, I'd say Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd took music to the next level. They were daring, experimental; a comparison to the legendary Hendrix. They also were much more mature, past singing about high-school crushes. They sang about concepts, introducing new ideas all the time. They were much more of an intellectual band in my personal opinion. Plus, I also relate more to their songs then Queen's.

I know more of Queens songs but Pink Floyd has a definate sound style to it that really catches listeners.

Queen, all the way, they didn't do any of those trippy 25min songs and almost all of them have different beats and don't all sound the same. Don't get me wrong Pink Floyd has a few good ones, but nothing compared to Queen.

i have to go with pink floyd because they made the best music video of all time- The Wall... even though queen has more hits that are still played today i have to go with pink floyd

Pink Floyd by a nose. Both bands have operatic songs, Roger and Dave were just as good as Freddie and Brian. Unfortunately, Floyd without Waters is just as lame as Queen without Freddie.
"The Wall" is my tiebreaker. If only Freddie was still alive.... who knows what they would have done.

PINK FLOYD!!! so many reasons... There album Dark Side of the Moon was the one that lasted the longest on the Top 100 albums of all time. I saw them 3x and they are thee best live show ever! Their songs mean so much to so many people. They Rule!!!

You can't really compare. Both are masters of their own art:
IF I was to take just one album to an island for the rest of my life, then it would be Pink Floyd (probably Dark Side by the way). Their albums are just so EPIC

Pink Floyd. most definatly. They have made the greatest albums in the world. and also check out Gilmour's solo album "On An Island"
