i think some dreams are just your jumbled thoughts. I do believe however in the power of dreams and the ones that you wake up from remembering, are the ones that are trying to tell you somethihng - what exactly??? I dont know, but a good book on dream interpretation is a must have!! Keep a pen and paper by your bed so you can write dreams down right away - they tend to become forgotten rather quickly when you wake up!! If a dream is worrying you, then it is deffinately trying to tell you something

What you've seen, done, tasted, smelt, and felt all play a roll in your dreams. Picture yourself at the mall with a few friends. There's people everywhere. Some you notice and make eye contact in passing. This sends a sublimital message to your brain. We are all judgemental of people. Some you like, some you don't. Sometimes you talk about these people to you friends. Now that you've spoken about said people, they are now locked in your mind.
Ever notice in your dreams, the blank faces in the backround? (sublimital) The faces that were more prominent? (your friends or possibly the people with whom you made eye contact with and spoke about them)
Have you ever had a dream that you liked and then woke up. Did you ever start thinking about it and want to get back into that dream, and succede? Dreams are a manifestation of your past and what's in your mind. No dream will predict the future.
So if you think that your boyfriend is going to cheat on you, you very well may have a dream of that happening.
Now, here's where reality sets in. Say your boyfriend does end up cheating on you. Would you think that this happened because you had a dream about it. (If so, you better go yell at him right now...lol) If he cheated on you, it wasn't because you dreampt about it. It would be because he wasn't faithful to you in your relationship. Good luck and pleasent dreams...(hey...who's that hot chick with your boyfriend?...lol)

i think i dream happens when you are asleep some dream might have meaning but for the most part the meaning is something you was thinking about so do not read much into a dream the average person has about 40 dreams a night you mind makes up alot of things you seen in a day and you just remember one are two of them and think they have meaning
in other words just relax and injoy the free show when you dream

1. We create our own code of symbols. If you understand what your symbols mean to you, you may gain insight to the dream.
2. We often dream in cliches. A typical example is dreaming you are naked in a public place — you may feel exposed, or vulnerable, about something. Look at where, you are, who's there, and any other details. Clues to the interpretation. Killers — something is unhealthy or killing you, observe details in your dream (i.e. smokers, heavy drinking, dangerous friends, etc).
3. Atmosphere/weather describes your mood, or feeling in the dream. Is it sunny, raining, dismal, a tornado, or lightening & thunder? What does a tornado represent to you. Chaos, devastated about something, etc.
4. If you can't control what others are saying in the dream, you are most likely having a telepathic meeting with others while asleep. (This has happened to me. Example, a friend of mine, in a dream, told me she was breaking up with her boyfriend. The next day she told me, same wording, that she was breaking up with her boyfriend).

I pay attention to my dreams. Some seem like warnings (like when I dreamt a log fell on my boyfriend at work, one fell on someone else a month or so later). Alot of times if I'm stressing over money my dreams are more confusing. I actually take melatonin at nights, to enhance my dreams. I like remembering them, because it's a release and I find my days go much smoother with alot less stress.

dreams can be intuitive, can give us a warning (but you have to know how to read them). the dreamer can sometimes take on the physical forms of other people and other objects in dreams (can have a dream about an evil witch for example, and could be dreaming about a part of her psyche that she feels ashamed of for some reason). re-occuring dreams also have distinct meanings and patterns. if you dream of a deceased loved one (or sometimes a group of people) some believe that you are visiting those that have crossed over, when you dream. Native americans feel that you can meet your spirit guide or totem animal when you dream. Dreams can mean many different things to many different people, each is unique and carries great significient symbolism. How you feel upon awaking from a dream also plays a significant role in the meaning of a dream. If you had a dream that your boyfriend was cheating on you, and you had good reason to think this, I would consider it a "fear based dream" instead of an intuitive on. If you drempt this and had no outwardly reason to fear that we would cheat, you might still on some level fear this through your own poor self esteem issues. believe me, it takes alot of practice to learn to properly read one's dream. (don't forget, the dreamer sometimes represents herself/himself, on some level)...alot to think about

Dreams can be both good and bad, interpreting dreams is difficult especially if you don't remember it all. There is a really good book at Walden Books on Dream Interpretation, it is on the clearance or bargain book rack that will help you loads. Oh yeah it even under 10 bucks.

A dream can sometimes indicate a thought, fear, or desire you have. And often dreams can simply be some nonsense your mind throws together.
Some dreams are more common at different ages. It is common for young people to have dreams about flying or suddenly finding themselves naked at their school.
Sexual dreams are very common after puberty, sometimes having content that is taboo or contrary to the self-image a person has of themself when they are awake. People tend to forget dreams that violate their ideas of who they are.

- sometimes they can just be fears that we try not to think about in the day, and then they surface at night
- other times, they can be intuitions that come to the surface also
- balance dream intuition with logic and evidence in every day life.. they are telling you something though.

well i think alot of dreams, i think some of them (nightmares) are telling you some of your worst fears, some dreams are trying to warn you, and some dreams are bassed on what your thinking, so you just have to figure out which goes under which catagorie, because i mean there has to be a reason why we have them..............
