I don't think you hate, necessarily. Most people fear the unknown or are confused by the unknown. I firmly believe this is a result of a lack of exposure to the "fear." I am afraid as hell of spiders, water, and clowns. So, what do I do? I avoid all of those things like the plague. So, quit being a scaredy cat and step outside your comfort zone. You may be pleasantly surprised (I'm working on this too and so far so good).
