I think one of the consequences of being direct with people is that people sometimes they think that I'm being mean, insensitive or negative but it's totally the opposite. I would rather tell someone the facts and give my honest opinion about something than see them get hurt or make the wrong choice. I think people need to hear the positive things too which helps to build stronger relationships with the people that I care about. Holding back on things I think make more problems that never get resolved.

Some people are funny because they hate when people lie to them but when u be direct and tell them exactly whats what sometimes they wish u would hve lied to them. And thats the argument of the day or for however long it lasts

Being direct has helped build a reputation of integrity and kept people in my life that want an honest relationship and cleared out some that were just wanting to hear what they wanted to hear!

I tend to find that it is better to be direct. The only thing to remember is that you have to explain yourself or explain why you are being direct. I find that people will come to you more often for advice and in the work place the mangers will tend to look at you for more work to done and also promotion.

I've hurt some, I've shamed some, I've helped some, and I've influenced some. Some people deal with me, others get mad at me, some people are in awe of my directness, and others respect me. Sometimes I just keep my mouth shut. And then people wonder what's wrong with me.

Honesty!! ....I'm very direct...even with people I don't know...If theres something u wanna know I'll tell ya and I dont give a flying ***** if you don't like.
But on a possitive note...its always one of the first things my friends/family list as something about me they like. Forever telling me they wish they could be more straightforward and direct, like me.
So tell it like it is..if they can't take it..offer them a tissue and walk away.
