I am pretty sure I have Mittelsmirch. This is a German expression for the middle of the month in regards to your menstrual cycle. Its an awful pain in my side that travels down my leg and into my back. I've had it since Sept. 2005.

Like I said...I'm pretty sure its Mittelsmirch. I checked with medical websites. So, should I still see a doc about this?

I am pretty sure you even don't have a clue what you have.
I am a German and I have never heard of this expression.
In German Mittelsmirch means nothing ! I don't know who told you this kind of stuff but it sounds to me that you should go to a gynecologist !

I agree with all the other answers, because you are not and cannot be sure of your diagnosis. Osteoporosis has a similar symptom.
