You should be okay getting into Canada, getting back into the US is the problem .. take your passport with you even though its expired, it at least has your info on it and is a legal document.

Hey, I'm leaving for the Falls on Monday! We might accidentally run into each other on the Canadian site :) From what I've read, Americans don't need a passport until Jan1 2007. You should be OK with two IDs, one driver's license and the other - whatever. Good luck. I'm positive I can get to Canada but I still reserved my hotel on the American side :)

Kind of late now. I would have ordered a certified copy of my birth certificate and/or renewed my passport. You are either going to have to pray it's enough or drive all the way around and avoid Canada.

You should be ok coming into Canada. But as another poster suggested, bring your passport with you and any other pieces of ID you might have. You might have more problem getting back into the US than into Canada.

You'll probably be all right. It depends on who is stationed at the entry booth. You'll probably have more trouble getting back into the States. I'm not kidding!

No, you probably won't have any problems. Unless you look like a Middle Eastern, that is...
