I believe that when God started everything, He started it like with the Universe as however it was, like Big Bang or whatever, and he pushed it along and started it, gave it a little nudge and everything started moving. I believe that when our planet was created like it was by nature, but God caused that nature to happen just as it did. God chose the Monkey and made them evolve into Humans over millions of years. So basically it was Intelligent Design causing evolution and all.

Science and God can never work together. Science wants to proof that The Big Bang created God. And Religion wants to believe the God created Big Bang. So who is right and how can they ever work together?

Because science(real) and God(not real) dont mix well. The scientific community Im sure has no problem with the idea of people believing in God in order to find peace in life and death. But when people of God act against mankind by helping to stop advancments in science because of Gods laws, thats where the relationship ends. And for a scientist to believe in a undocumented and unrealistic practice such is religion, your asking them to go against everything they have learned. Science is about truth, structure, and meaning, philosophy of rationalism. Except for pure mathematics, nothing is known for sure. But I think its safe to say if there is a God, shame on him.

Science doesn't mind, it's the religion people who have a problem.

God probably doesn't mind either; it's the religion people who get all upset because they're out of date.

God has thrown away the bible, doesn't use it anymore (if ever) but the religion people are still stuck in the mud, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

If you can get them to catch up to God and science, you'll have really done something!

So are you saying that we'll be immortal for having science and 'god' together? This is so....laughable, actually. We've already implored the idea long long long ago. Science makes the foundation of logic, and 'faith' lets us believe that when we die, we'll have a good/bad place to go to. Of course, it's more like you're asking, "Why can't people make DELL god?" It's seriously funny.

Pick up a history book and read it long and hard.

I am a Christian of non-denomination. I do believe that in many areas, the Bible matches with science and they complement each other. I also believe that God has gifted scientists with their knowledge. It even fits in with end time prophecy in the regards that knowledge will increase. Knowledge to increase includes science and archaeological finds, etc. just as much as it includes inventions of things like computers, TV, etc. Maybe even more so. Do, I think there are things that do go hand in hand.

So like you believe in the principles of chemistry and physics, but when it comes to biology it's god's doing. He is the all powerful creator who started with a Lego set. He didn't create matter or space, but utilized them. I don't find that to be all powerful because we can do the same today. We can change the form of matter and create life.

As to references in the bible actually occurring, the bible isn't the only religious text which mentions things like the great flood. However, the reason it does mention them is that it is attempting to explain something that people couldn't understand and, therefore, feared. The main purpose of every religion.

Christian scientist have joined science and God together to prove that the Bible is true and that the things that have occured on this earth have been mentioned in the Bible and are true.
An example of this is Dr. Kurt Wyse.

God and science go hand in hand, as science is the
proof of God, many great scientists have believed in
God, I believe this was metioned on another thread;
man is God's top of earthly creation,I don't care what
atheists, agnostics or anybody else, says, the proof is
there for those who seek it.

Science opposes the biblical explanation of creation. Science opposes the biblical description of the universe.
