Twelve year old girls are coming into the time where privacy is one of the big things on their minds. Get her a nice box that she can keep treasures in - one with a lock that isn't easily picked. It doesn't have to be very large - her treasures will mostly be paper and small objects - but she'll appreciate it more than you can imagine. I'm nearly 50 years old, and I still have mine, with its treasures still intact. My old diary, love letters from high school - well, never you mind what else - but you get the idea.

A cute purse. A girl can never have too many. A magazine subscription. A real beading kit with wire, tools, clasps and glass beads for making bracelets or necklaces, can be found at craft stores.

You can either give her the $50.00 in a nice card or get her a gift certificate to a store that sells cds, movies or game cartridges.

Get her something from American Eagle. American Eagle's having a clearance. Nice tees for about $10.00 that was $20.00 check the website.

I would Just Give her the gift certificate...because if you don't know what to get...i can't really tell you anything...A cd store would be good...and maybe the mall or something.
