don't wry about it!! a tan can fade just as fast as you seemed to get it!! lol
the best way to help speed along the fading is by exfoliating and different types of "peels". this will help peel off the most outer layers of skin (which are typically dead/dying anyways) and remove the color. try using a lemon/vinegar scrub if the tan is fake. in which you mix the two in eq. amounts and then use like a loofah or add it to a bath and scrub. use exfoliants w. those little scrubbing beads to help buff away the skin (it will make your skin super soft as a bonus! ) other than that, just try to stay out the sun! good luck!

First, you don't have a "tan" unless you have been exposed to enough ultraviolet light to cause darkening of the skin, which is actually the skin's defense reaction to damage caused by ultraviolet light from the sun. I, unfortunately have the opposite problem, with extremely fair skin, almost no pigment, I tend to burn long before my skin develops any natural darkening from exposure to ultraviolet from the sun. You already have this natural skin darkening as part of your genetic makeup. However, you can still get a sunburn as I do for exactly the same reason. Even though your skin is naturally darker, it still can be damaged by ultraviolet light in exactly the same manner as mine is, with the exact same result. Only in your case, you may not see your skin turning reddish and may not know you are getting sunburned until it actually starts to hurt. In my case, my skin turns red long before it starts to hurt. With darker skin than I have, you need sunblock even more than I do. The only way to lose the tan caused by the sun is time for the skin to heal from the damage and staying out of ultraviolet light from the sun. It will eventually fade back to whatever the level of natural pigmentation you were born with.
So, there it is, sunburn and tanning. Now, if you are looking to lighten you skin's natural coloring, then you have to go the route of Michael Jackson and find a dermatoligist to bleach your skin to remove some of the natural pigment your genes gave you. I do NOT recommend this procedure. You may end up looking like MJ, and is that what you really WANT to do?

hmmmm, I think dark skin is beautiful. Am sure there are some things you can have done, cosmetically, but I would not know, the only person I have seen go light skinned is Michael Jackson, and am sure you dont want to do that.
Enjoy what you were given, I pay money to get some tan !!!!

that's kinda unusual--I propose maximum human beings love tans! there is not any longer plenty which you're able to do, staying indoors or wearing sunblock will help your tan disappear, despite the fact that it extremely is going to take time. i could desire to get my tan decrease back, tans are attractive! :)

Stay out of the sun. Wear sunscreen all over and add more lotion to remove the chalky skin.
Get a good scrub and polish every three days. Stay out of the SUN. Wear richer colors like warm shades to make you look bronzer, white will make you look darker.

I'm white and want to be darker. I am not darker. I was born with this skin. I do not tan well. I've just learned to accept who I am. You should too.
