no one really knows, victoria's secret was a little boutique in palo alto until the limited brand bought it out. it is true about how overpriced items are especially since they are made in china/vietnam/sri lanka and etc. my friend also worked there for a while and they treated her like ****, like they owned her for minimum wage and NO commission..

I heard it derived from Queen Victoria who was a pack rat and named it Victorian style, and lots of cloths from everywhere and out of that came Victoria's Secret the store.
