Two days ago I won a Gameboy Advance SP in an arcade game called "Stacker." But I know that the SP is an old system now and that the DS is the new and popular one. I also am interested in getting a PSP. I would like to keep the SP because it is more portable, can also play original game boy games and gb color games, and doesn't have the dual screen the DS has which I slightly don't like and it confuses me a little. Plus the games would be cheaper for SP and of course used old games are cheap. But the DS is new of course and will be getting new and better games for a long time and there are games for it that I'd want to play that aren't on SP. It's also not that much more than an SP and I could always rent games along with buying them and/or get used ones for both. Not to mention you can play online with other people on DS. I like PSP because it can play movies and go online but it doesn't have that many good games and the console and other stuff for it are expensive. Advice?

I sold all of the games I had for original gameboy and gameboy advance a while ago since I wasn't playing them or my Gameboy Advance or Pocket in general anymore. I knew the DS could play Advance games but I've heard it can't play color or original gameboy games. Nintendogs and maybe the new Mario Kart and Super Mario Brothers are the only reasons I'd get a DS basically, and I know the lower screen isn't used that much. And I've wanted a PSP ever since it came out but I've heard quite a few negative things about it although it seems to be popular on here.

keep the sp the ds does not play older games only advance and ds games.

now both ds and psp are good on their own it just depends on the games you like so look into the games and decide which games best suits you

Ok first of all if you get a newer better system you wouldn't want to use your old sp. The nintendo DS can play gameboy Advance games if you didn't know. The bottom screen is not very important because it is usually just a map or a controller. Your gameplay is viewed on the top screen. If you are considering a psp there is absolutely no reason to keep your SP. The psp has just as much processing power as a PS2 and if you ever have played a PS2 you ll know how I feel. I have a DS and I do think it is very fun but I would rather have a PSP because of the better graphics. So I do think you should sell your SP

get a ds.i have one and you can play gameboy color, gameboy advance, and ds games on it.I didn't like the idea of 2 screens either but you mainly use only one.and if you do get a ds try out nitendogs.it's worth getting the ds just for that. I also had a psp but it wasn't nearly as good as i expected it to be.

you should sell it because if you get the ds you dont have to trade in your games and you have 2 screens and the psp has movies and better graphics

well. you would have to sell all your games that fit in the SP so you can buy games that will fit in your new one if you diecide to sell it.
