You would be classified as African. Period.
African-American is a term used for people in the US who were born in the US and have families that have a heritage of being Americans.

You would just be african. Black pertains to the color of the skin, not the nationality. You wouldn't be african-american, cause that pertains to someone of a different ethnicity born in the US

The color of your skin already proclaims you has black. You become a black american when you become a citizen of america--so you become a black person from america and if you are from africa, you are still considered black. The only difference is your nationality and not skin color. I am a Nigerian born of an American mother and Nigerian father. I have a nigerian accent, that doesn't mean i'm not black or american the only difference is my accent the same as my nationality.

only if your skin is dark...otherwise you'd just be african....but maybe you could get into black colleges and take advantage of affirmative action because you would really be african american if you nationalized to the USA.

Only if that's what color your skin is now anyway. You are African, but that doesn't make you black...?
