Too much is not enough to deter smoking - In Australia it's about 8-10 aus bux per pack but that's 'only' 6.5-7.5 US bux! While others have quit or changed to rolling their own, I merely cut my consumption from 20 to 10 smokes per day! Your $38+ is only about half of the prices here in Australia @ under 4 bux a pack! In the good ole USA there are many discount stores run by 'native' organizations where I was getting cartons for $20! (2004) Oh well, must be smoke break time...tanx for the question & my 2pts!

Marlboro Red (box) $24.99 carton, plus tax.
Generic like Carnivale $1.83 a pack, and that includes tax.

Don't know. Don't smoke. Now I'm really glad I don't.

By the way... I live in CT, where you're allowed to smoke at any age. You just can't buy cigarettes until you're 21.
